Yep, it’s that time again: when Sunday rolls around and I go through my empty trash and tell you guys all about it. The best thing is, everything is so mini and cute! Yep, it’s Sample Sunday.
This week I have but three lowly samples for y’all to feast your eyes on. Let’s just get into it, shall we?
Etude House Milky You Cleansing Foam
I may or may mention in a post coming later this week, but I’ve never really discussed this, until now. I received this deluxe sample last year, and since then it’s been my go-to cleanser for when I’m travelling. This is definitely not the gentlest of cleansers, and I use it when my face feels super dirty and I want a thorough clean. I also don’t use too much because of this.
It has a gentle fragrance; I don’t know if it’s quite like milk, but I think that’s what they’re going for. In fact, I don’t really get the name at all, because the texture is not milky in the slightest. As I said, it’s a cleansing foam, and there ain’t no buts about that!
All in all, this is a great cleanser to remove stubborn makeup and clean yo’ face.
Malin + Goetz Vitamin B5 Body Moisturiser
This little baby was another gift from Gav’s parents, and lasted me a fair while considering its miniature size. I’m quite enamoured with this brand, and this cream was no exception. I didn’t really read the name properly until now, so I’m quite interested in the vitamin B5 bit. Vitamins for everyone!
What I can tell you is that it has a nice, zesty, “healthy” scent, and it moisturised mah body reeeeal nice. That sounds weird but it actually did do a good job. Great stuff.
Aesop Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser
I received a bunch of Aesop’s Fabulous Face Cleanser when I purchased the Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum and Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Hydrator, but I hadn’t actually tried this until now. This particular sample is from a purchase last year when I was in Melbourne, and I was true to my hoarding ways and kept it until now.
I didn’t notice a huge difference between the two cleansers, to be honest, but this one could perhaps be a touch heavier. Either way, it cleansed my face without stripping the oils, and it had a herbal, trademark Aesop scent, so me likey.
That’s it for my mini sample haul today! How about you? What samples have you been using and loving? Let me know!
OH and check out my friend Lisa’s awesome blog, Tales of a Travel Addict. You may just recognise a guest post by a certain someone 😉
Happy Sunday everyone 🙂
