Recently I made my first order from W2Beauty, and oh my gosh… I have never been more excited to receive something in my whole life. Seriously, we had to get an Uber to the post office, and I was just chomping at the bit. When I got my parcel and saw who it was from, I couldn’t wait to open it. No, literally, I couldn’t wait, so I found a pen in my bag and used it to stab the tape, piercing through it’s layers and then ripping it off with brute force. It was glorious!
So what did I order?
Admittedly, this was a very small order, but is perhaps a sign of things to come. The beginning of the end, if you will. Once I experienced the joys of ordering Korean cosmetics online (because I was used to purchasing them at the stores in Korea), I knew there was no way I could go back. In fact, I’ve already purchased a few more things in the days since, and I ain’t making no apologies for it.
Anyway, I decided I wanted to get a toner (this was before I cracked and purchased The Face Shop’s Arsainte Eco-Therapy Tonic with Essential, which I raved about here). I also wanted to try something new, something fresh… and something that didn’t test on animals (surprisingly hard to find in Korean cosmetics). After a bit of Googling, I found out that Lioele is cruelty-free, and it was also a brand I had heard nothing about. So why not give it a go?
I bought the Pure White Skin (toner) and also decided to get the Stick Eyeshadow in #6 too. I love having a bit of white shimmer in the corner of my eyes, but since finishing/packing (I can’t remember) this little Face Shop eyeshadow I bought a while ago, I haven’t had a replacement, and so, my glow has been low. Until now!
So this was it… until I saw the samples!
Honestly, I think this a really generous amount of samples and I was very pleasantly surprised. I love receiving face masks as samples, as they’re quite a hefty gift and you can really get a feel for the product when it’s all over your face in a strange-looking white sheet. Love it.
I also received a number of little sachets, including the Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence (x2!) which I’ve been dying to try, and also a few things from It’s Skin and Banila Co., two brands I’ve never dabbled with. I was honestly over the moon about this package, the service, the timeliness… everything!

What Korean cosmetics are you loving right now? I’d love to hear!
