Vlog #2: First Night in a Love Motel

Hi friends!

Long time no posts. After coming down with a horrendous virus over the long weekend, I managed to pass the sickness onto Gav so we have been under the weather for a combined week. Not fun! But you will be pleased to know that I am back, stronger than before and most importantly of all, I can taste my food again! (Honestly, that was the hardest, most heartbreaking part.)

I thought today I’d do something a bit different, and that is… a vlog! You may remember me mentioning these videos I started filming when I first arrived in Korea, but until now I never really knew what to do with them or how to edit them, and they really needed it because I tend to yabber on a lot. So they sat on my hard drive for a long time… until today. This is my first experience with Youtube Editor so I hope you like it! I must say, I quite enjoyed chopping up the video (maybe a little too much at times, oops).Β It’s a lot of fun so look out for some more to come soon πŸ™‚

This video was taken on the night I arrived in Korea (while staying in a love motel, rrreow), and before I had met any of my friends. I had spent 9 hours in Shanghai and was rather sleepy/delirious. This was before we’d started school as well, so I had no idea how (awesome) it would turn out to be!

I hope y’all enjoy, let me know if you would like to see more videos πŸ™‚

    1. Hehe yes it is pretty amazing! Especially now that I am *so* obsessed with Korean cosmetics and I realise how tricky they can (sometimes) be to get overseas. You should definitely come! It’s absolutely beautiful in autumn too so it’s a perfect idea πŸ˜‰

    1. Hehe yeah it’s all relative, huh?! Funnily enough, this stuff has become normal to me now and that’s nowhere near the worst of it. Some train stations openly and aggressively advertise serious plastic surgery, as you would for a pair of shoes or a brand of juice. It be cray! Glad you lol’d, I must say editing these videos is rather addictive!
